Mummies at Red Square

Several young people dressed as mummies attempted to hold a protest at Red Square in Moscow. The protesters wrapped from head to toe in white bandages [identified themselves](http://www.upi.com/Top_News/2009/01/21/Anniversary_of_Lenins_death_sparks_protest/UPI-15521232553443/) as Orthodox monarchists. The group previously held a demonstration in support of burying Lenin near the graves of his mother and sisters in St. Petersburg.

Natalia Vodianova’s the [Naked Heart Foundation](http://www.nakedheart.org/), which builds play parks for Russian children, has opened its playground in Novosibirsk, Russia, on 20th of September. Natalia Vodianova told at the press-conference the playground was built with the support of local authorities for about 9 millions rubles which were shared between the foundation, city administration and local NGO. In Berlin, beautiful employees of British cosmetics firm Lush [unwraped themselves](http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article1559375.ece) for the campaign against excessive wrapping in beauty products and toiletries.

They [argue](http://www.bild.de/BILD/berlin/aktuell/2008/08/14/schoenste-demo-von-berlin/im-kosmetikladen-lush.html) that unnecessary plastic packaging is contributing to climate change.

To reduce their impact on the environment, Lush sell soaps and massage oil bars that have little or no packaging at all.
